AUTHOR: Drew Bryden DATE: 11/2/2003 12:08:55 PM ----- BODY: So, forget my whining last week. I was able to commute by bicycle a couple of days this week. Yesterday was November 1st, and I did a 21.5 mile bicycle ride in shorts and short-sleeves on the Cape Cod Rail Trail. I'll take 64 degree weather in November any time. Had I gotten an earlier start, I would have put many more miles in. The weather was ideal. Unfortunately, darkness arrives around 4:30p.m. so I had to plan my return trip accordingly. Another gorgeous one so far today, and then the weather man calls for "raw" weather moving in early this week. Enjoy it while we have it in other words. Old man winter is right around the corner.

I received my JET Lite's Starfire i Single Beam headlight this week. This explains my ability to bicycle commute in darkness on the way home a couple of nights this week. Unfortunately, I have a bad battery connector that necessitates a return (and I assume a wait). Jet Lites was prompt to reply, so no complaints there. He knew exactly the problem when I explained the light shutting off when hitting a bump. Hopefully, at next report I will have a flawess headlight system (it was the first night). The weather is supposed to be miserable this week anyway.

Enough blogging... time to go enjoy the autumn weather! --------
