Weekend Wonderland

Yes, we do things in two's now. She said she would go for it, if I did. The top picture is the Mac Daddy, and the bottom is the Momma Mac (I really don't name my computers, and Jesse's remains nameless so far).
Dougie Dell is now playing second fiddle to: ???
Jesse sent an email to many people in her address book, letting them know that now that she was Mac enhanced, as opposed to Dell disabled, they should be hearing more from her. I, on the other hand, should have sent a similar email out to my contacts, stating that I could no longer be reached at all... because I'm having too much damned fun!
It really came down to this: we only live once, and these are luxuries that we might not be able to justify once there is a little one/ones running around (as we hope there will be someday).
Those strange looking projections next to Jesse's computer are the speakers for the harman/kardon, Sound Sticks II, speaker and subwoofer system. She went all out with the larger screen and stereo. I went bottom of the line and basic, but I am loving it.

Patriot Hawk

About 3:30 this afternoon, I noticed our local red-tail had the neighborhood staked out from a nearby pole. Not appreciating the audience, she then took to the top of the flag pole to observe me and any other notable activities.

Ghost Town Decor?

"Many husbands go broke on the money their wives save at sales."
So far, our tastes have proven quite similar, and we have never had a dispute. The two items pictured above are the results of "Platinum Tuesday" (the "benefits" of being a Platinum Card holder). The vase, I agree, is an excellent addition to our decor. On the right, we have a Western prairie sleigh ride through tumbleweeds... golden, glittery tumbleweeds at that. I am still uncertain, but the beauty of decor is in the eye of the beholder?
"The safest way to disagree with your wife (to be) is very quietly."

Waquoit Bay in January

It is the rare January day on Cape Cod that is so perfect for hopping on the bicycle and taking in the winter views. Today, was one of those.
